What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy: Changes can be made free of charge. Cancellations more than 48 hours before your reservation will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 48 hours before your reservation and NO-SHOWS must pay full cost

Is there an extra charge for Early Morning or Late Night Shuttles?

Yes, shuttles that include any driving time between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. incur an additional charge of $25.00

How much time should I allow to get to the airport?

It depends on where you are staying, weather conditions and road conditions.  Based on recommendations from the airport and our experience, we suggest the following guidelines:

Powder Ridge Condos 3.5 hours prior to flight time
Powder Mountain Ski Resort 3.25 hours prior to flight time
Eden Lodging 3 hours prior to flight time
Snow Basin Ski Resort 3 hours prior to flight time
Wolf Mountain Ski Resort 3 hours prior to flight time
Huntsville Lodging 3 hours prior to flight time
Ogden City Lodging 2.75 hours prior to flight time


Can I stop for Groceries and / or Liquor on the way to my destination?

Absolutely!  We can stop for groceries and / or liquor on the way to your destination. Shuttle stops will need to be scheduled when you request your reservation.

Liquor:  Utah State Liquor Store 1160 Patterson Ave. Ogden, Utah Call (801) 394-1898  and place your order over the phone.  They will give you details of how to pre-order. (Please check the store hours when calling. The liquor store is not open on Sundays. If you are coming in on a Sunday, we can pick up your liquor order in advance – Just let us know. 

When will I be charged for my shuttle?

Your credit card will be charged when you make your reservation and we send you your confirmation number.

What is the standard tip / gratuity for our driver?

Gratuities are always appreciate 🙂

Black Diamond Shuttle drivers work crazy hours and operate under extreme weather and road conditions, all while maintaining an up-beat, positive attitude. 

Gratuities from our customers are an acknowledgment for a job well done.  This recognition goes a long ways towards our driver’s morale and is greatly appreciated.  Typically, our drivers receive 18% for on time, efficient service.  20% for service above and beyond what was expected.

Please note groups of 5 or more will automatically have an 18% gratuity added to their fare.

How far in advance should I reserve my shuttle?

Airport Shuttles and Park City Resort Transfer Shuttles need to be requested at least 48 hours in advance.  All other shuttles need to request reservations 24 hours in advance.  If you need a shuttle sooner, please don’t hesitate to text or call us.  If we can make it happen, we will.  Keep in mind that popular shuttles, dates and times fill up fast.  We recommend requesting a reservation for your shuttle early to avoid any disappointment.

Are your vehicles Four-Wheel Drive?

Yes!  Black Diamond Shuttle has Four-Wheel drive Chevy Suburban SUV’s to make sure you get safely to your destination.  Unlike our competition, which sometimes leaves customers stranded, we can get you there!

Are your shuttles private or shared?

Black Diamond Shuttle provides only Private Shuttles.  This means only those in your party will be aboard.  We provide direct, non-stop transportation to your destination.  Shared shuttle service often has multiple stops while you wait for other passengers to be dropped off before you.  Remember with a Private Shuttle, you can schedule Shuttle Stops for groceries, liquor, ski rental or a bite to eat.  We are here to serve you.
